Ken re-joined Pinnacle in 2019 after three years with a regional property/casualty insurer, where he was responsible for pricing and rate implementation for all the company’s commercial lines products.
Ken has considerable experience in assignments involving loss reserving, funding studies, cost allocation mechanisms, loss cost projections, captive feasibility studies, commercial lines ratemaking, financial analyses of insurance companies, deductible analyses, risk margin calculations and simulation models.
He has made numerous presentations to brokers regarding loss reserving, future loss projections and how their companies’ characteristics impact their actuarial calculations.
Ken serves as loss reserve and funding project manager for multiple captive insurance companies and self-insured entities, and also brings experience in the trucking industry for alternative markets. His services have included development of trucking insurance loss reserve, funding, retention and deductible analyses.
In addition, Ken develops simulation applications that calculate risk margins using company-specific data, and serves as project consultant on large financial examinations.
