Steve has experience in assignments involving loss cost projections, loss reserving and group captives.
He is a primary contributor to research projects involving risk retention groups. He works closely with enterprise risk captives (ERCs), assisting with reserving and funding. He also assists insureds in developing rate indications both statewide and by territory, along with preparing the filings for submission.
Steve serves as primary analyst for insurance companies, performing both interim and year-end reserve analyses. He also assists with the preparation of Statements of Actuarial Opinion and Actuarial Opinion Summaries. In addition, he produces estimates of unpaid claim liabilities and funding analyses for entities with self-insured exposure to loss.
